On 21 August 2024, the official Pocket Camp account on Twitter/X shared a statement that Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp would cease to exist on 28 November 2024, to make way for an updated, offline, paid version of the app (without micro transactions).
The online services ended on 28 November 2024.
